Research Associate, Medical Device Group (Boston, MA)

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE • BOSTON, MA

Research Associate Medical Device Group (Boston, MA) – Perform technical reviews to support decisions regarding the novelty of a patent under the direction of a Group Leader. The position requires analytical ability to efficiently review published information to identify the existence of relevant technologies. These technologies will cover a range of medical technology subjects such as orthopedics, biomechanics and surgical devices. Generate reports based on research, which examine whether the proposed technology is unique from existing patents. Communicate these findings to a Group Leader who will serve as the supervisor. The duties are similar to the work carried out by the US Patent office by a GS-9 Level Patent Examiners. Viable Candidate must possess a Master’s Degree in BioMedical Engineering, BioEngineering or its equiv. Full-Time position.

Research Associate, Electrical Engineering & Semiconductor Group (Boston, MA)

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE • BOSTON, MA

These technologies will cover a range of electrical engineering subjects such as Circuit Design, analog Design, Semiconductor memory circuits, power electronics and signal processing. Generate reports based on research, which examine whether the proposed technology is unique from existing patents. The duties are similar to the work carried out by the US Patent office by a GS-9 Level Patent Examiners. Viable Candidate must possess a Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or its equivalent.
